The only concession to his being in a wheelchair was to have the rails installed. He would then pull himself up with his arms. There were no accomodations made inside the house. He wanted as few people as possible to know about his disability.

We are parents to children with special needs. It all started when our triplets were born at 25 weeks gestation and the 2 surviving girls had numerous medical and physical issues. 7 years later we decided to open our hearts and home to a few more of these very special children. We have been so blessed to have been able to make a difference in their lives.
